Tom Bradshaw

– Carrie’s dad; a lawyer; struggles to take care of his daughters after the death of his wife

Larissa Loughlin

– Carrie’s first friend that she meets in the city; an older, successful, street savvy fashion writer for Interview magazine; offers Carrie a chance to experience the glamorous life in the city and a new job but is also a bad influence on Carrie by encouraging her to steal, drink, and party

Jill “The Mouse” Thompson

– One of Carrie’s best friends from high school; recently lost her virginity to her new older college boyfriend Seth; careful and nerdy, naive and loyal

– played by Ellen Wong

Maggie Landers

– Carrie’s other best girlfriend from high school; cool and hip, carefree and adventurous; has a boyfriend but cheats on him with a cop; insecure about her future; concerned with appearances, but loyal friend to Carrie

– played by Katie Findlay

Walt Reynolds

– Maggie’s boyfriend and Carrie’s best guy friend; struggles with his identity; he is secretly gay

– played by Brendan Dooling

Sebastian Kydd

– the new kid at school; Carrie’s crush and first kiss; has a relationship with Carrie but breaks it off with her after finding out she knows about his past getting kicked out of school for having an affair with a teacher; begins to date Donna LaDonna who he feels is more his equal and can handle his bad boy lifestyle

– played by Austin Butler

Donna LaDonna

– Carrie’s nemesis; the queen bee and “mean girl” at school; pities Carrie after her mother’s death but then proceeds to torture Carrie and her friends by stealing Sebastian at the school dance and trying everything in her power to keep Carrie away from him; has 2 “minions” and an evil agenda to get whats she wants and crush anything that stands in her way

“Bitchy” Barbara

– Carrie’s boss at the law firm; traditional and serious, strict and demanding; warms up to Carrie after she starts dating George
